My Hughes GXCEBOT DirecTivo finally died

My Hughes GXCEBOT DirecTivo finally died on or before yesterday. After I returned from a 3 day business meeting, I walked into the house to see "Just a few more seconds". That's where it stops! I'd been having older shows and partially watched shows all of a sudden become unplayable (error message "cannot play recording). In the last throws before it quit, I would watch a show and at some point the show would freeze and the unit would reboot.

What options do I have now to not start over?
