In the middle of watching the live TV stream my Tivo rebooted. After rebooting I looked through all the logs and found nearly nothing to help me figure out why. Here are the few entries I did find

from kernel log
Nov 4 07:21:00 (none) kernel: About to check tasks for tty to shutdown
Nov 4 07:21:00 (none) kernel: This one's (3681) goin' down

from tsclient log
Nov 4 09:00:00 (none) comm[131]: Command Output: 11/04:09:00:00: /tvbin/tivosh: Timer has expired...
Nov 4 09:00:00 (none) comm[131]: Command Output: 11/04:09:00:00: /tvbin/tivosh: Rebooting

Any idea why it happened?

It could be the wicked witch of the west was coming down from her Halloween high and cast a spell on your TiVo. Just possibly a little more information might help someone smarter than me figure something out. Information such as:
Model number of TiVo
Software version
What channel / network you were watching
