While poking around at tivoapp on my 9.1 SD-H400 I noticed a reference to /soma_setup/common/ui/CallerId/CallerId.brf. I extracted the brf and looked inside and it had this to say:
Do you want the Digital Media Server to identify a caller's name and number when the phone rings while you are watching a program?
Note: Caller ID messages can only be displayed when a phone line that supports Caller ID is attached to your DMS
I looked and it's present also on my 6.3e HR10, but not on my 6.2a DSR704. I'm quite new to brf file stucture, so I'm not really messing with it, but I assume I'm not the first to notice it. Has anyone poked around at this and possibly gleaned more from it than I? Maybe TiVo has some type of built in caller id that they haven't enabled as of yet? Attached is the CallerId.brf I extracted from my DVD TiVo for anyone wanting to take a look.
