HR10-250 and Tivo Desktop

Ok, quick question here.

I realize that the HR10-250 does not support MRV.
I realize that the HR10-250 does not support TivoToGo.
I have also read that Tivo Desktop 2.4 is not compatible with the HR10-250, so you must use 2.3a

I have never before used Tivo Desktop, so I'm not really sure how it is supposed to function, or how it works under the covers. My question is simple.

Is it in any way possible to view shows from a HR10-250 using Tivo Desktop 2.3a, or does that functionality rely on MRV and/or TivoToGo?

No.

Yes. There are plenty of other, better methods for doing this, that are well documented on the forum. TivoDesktop is only good for serving up music/pictures to a directivo.

I realize this, I've been doing extraction for some time now. However, I recently got my hands on the Mediagate T1 firmware for my Mediagate device. The T1 has the capability to view shows from a Tivo, but it doesn't really say *how* it is doing this. I figured the methods would be similar to the TivoDesktop route, so if I could figure out a way to get TivoDesktop working, then I might be able to get the T1 working with the HR10-250.

Unfortunately it looks like I'm completely out of luck there.
