Hi. Haven't been here in quite a while. I may have asked this before, but here goes. I have a subbed SAT-T60 w/v2.5.2 and I'm able to record shows fine. But when I try to upgrade the software to anything newer (by using a spare hard drive) I'm not able to record anymore, but the channels tune okay.
Is there any way to get a newer software version and still be able to record? I think it has something to do with dtv making my bill smaller by removing the extra fee I used to pay (which was horseshit). I'd rather not have to call them just so they can add more fees to my bill which is large enough as it is for sub-standard audio level crap they allow the networks they carry do. You're just sitting there minding your own business watching your network and then BAM, a frickin loudazz commercial comes on, then it goes away. Friggin networks are selling volume now by lowering their overall audio level and raise it up to normal to the people who pay for it. But that's a whole different thread right there.
Any known hacks, mods, or kernels to fix this issue?
