Hard Drive power connector wont budge!

Whenever I try to remove the power connector from the tivo it feels like it is glued in. Is there anything im supposed to do first?

Edit: Nevermind with a little elbow greese i managed to get it off

I use a pair of pliers and rock it back and forth gently until it loosens.
