View Full Version : How can I adjust TimeoutToLiveTVSeconds?

Does anyone know what the TimeoutToLiveTVSeconds address is in 9.2?

I find the 3 min timeout to be irritating, especially with Rhapsody, if the music ends and I don't start something within 3 minutes I get blasted by whatever is on live TV at the moment.

To edit this constant I need to make a working tvres file for tivowebplus, but I can't seem to find the constant in 9.2

If there is another way to edit the timeout I'd love to hear it.

I was under the impression that the timeout values moved from MFS into *.brf around (or after) software version 4.x (see this thread (http://www.dealdatabase.com/forum/showthread.php?t=29896)). In software versions 6.3/7.x, 8.x, and 9.1, I think /lib/resources/Constants.brf contains the timeout values, but I've not seen anyone report attempting to modify those values.

For what it's worth, if you compile a debug version of sendkeyplus, there's an option to spawn a daemon that prevents timeouts to livetv. I think I had some trouble with it causing reboots and didn't put much time into it.
