G'day to all the Aussies who hang here from time to time.

I'm returning to sunny Melbourne after 10 years in Washington DC.

A lot has changed in Oz since 1998. I'm now used to Directv with 2 x hacked DSR7000.

What I'd really like to know is this:

Is there a cable / satellite TV service in Melbourne that provides similar features to the hacked Directivo?

Is there a service or other way that I can get US feeds in Australia? I'm looking at NHL and the US soap channel for the missus?

I see a hosting service has sprouted up, waiting to receive some more info from them. It would be nice to do this on almost a P2P basis.
