--> Need Help with TivoHD !

I've been running with hack'd S2 machines for a couple years now. I recently aquired a TivoHD and had the PROM serviced. Now I'm trying to get access and I'm pulling my hair out.

I've pulled the drive, dupped it, then used replace_initrd_x86. I put the modified drive back in my TivoHD and here is what I see on the console ...

starting to load uncached text
loaded uncached text
verified uncached text
loaded zimage
verified zimage
inflating zimage (40000 bytes)
inflated zimage (92432 bytes)
flushed cache data
expanded bss
flushed cache bss
checked sha

The boot screen just hangs on powering up ...
Any insight would be greatly appreciated !!! :o

Any insight would be greatly appreciated !!! :oput console=1,115200 dsscon=true in your bootpage to enable kernel messages. We should at least be able to see if the kernel is starting at all that way.

I should have figured since THD has a custom console port that I needed to change that. I think I need some sleep ...

OK ... I've made much progress, but it appears that I'm going to have some challenges with the 8.1.7 software (no superpatch).

Is 7.2 supported on the TivoHD ?

No. Make a few calls and your box will be updated to 9.2a or 9.3. All the popular patches have been ported to both versions already.

I was using the Gen06 Custom Kernel (http://http://www.dealdatabase.com/forum/showpost.php?p=289685&postcount=15), which was built for 8.1.7.

Can I use that with 9.x or is there a 9.x Custom Kernel available ?

I've got me TivoHD up and running with the custom Gen06 kernel ... but I can't find any patch information to disable encryption on 9.2a.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated ...
