6.4a?

I currently have a hughes SD-DVR40 and i am running 6.2 software.. However when goto the now showing lsit a message popped up saying upgrade to 6.4a to get the "new features" can i upgrade from 6.2 to 6.4a? and still keep the multiroom viewing?

Nope - the MRV code was removed. You could look into using Movieloader (http://dealdatabase.com/forum/showthread.php?t=51987) instead.
