Hi,
Just recently, it seemed that the tivo rebooted (not sure if it just rebooted, or we had a power failure), and now I cannot login via telnet.
Here is a brief history of the situation.
Had an S1 tivo with single small disk.
Upgraded to two larger disks using Hinsdale howto.
Later got an ethernet card and tried to use the Jenkins howto to get telnet going on the upgrade disks.
That was unsuccessful, as the jenkins boot cd simply would not mount the partitions.
I found that I was able to use jenkins to get telnet going on the original disk.
I did that and then used Hinsdale again. Then I had my two large disks with telnet going. That lasted for about 15 months.
About week or so ago, it appeared to reboot and now when I try to connect to port 23 it simply says connection refused.

I pulled the disk A and used the jenkins cd to mount the partitions. I am only able to mount 7 and 9, not 4.
The data in rc.sysinit.author is there on 7, and so is the hack dir on partition 9.
I recall that I was able to mount both 4 and 7 on the original disk and configure both appropriately.
I fear that it got a new system upgrade and swapped the active partition, and obviously the new one is not configured to start telnet.
Also; for some reason, it would appear that the partition that is now active cannot be mounted, perhaps for the same reason that the
partitions on my original capacity upgrade could not be.

Any thoughts?

Thank you.
