View Full Version : Tivo HD boot issue

EDIT: Nevermind yet again. I play around with these things for a few hours before posting about them, then just as I post about them I somehow manage to figure it out.

Question for tivo devs though, why the hell do failed module loads have to halt the boot sequence? IMO if its a showstopper, let the tivo fail later gracefully. Makes troubleshooting a HELL of a lot easier.

Makes troubleshooting a HELL of a lot easier.I edit /etc/rc.d/StageA_PreKickstart/rc.Sequence_050.SetupCoreEnvironement.sh to set failOk=1, which gives the behavior you want.
