I know that the 64 bit version of vserver works on the Tivo HD, but are there any updated PC tools that it can stream to? Tyshow, vlc, etc can't handle the newer HD streams as far as I can tell.

It might be possible to integrate s3tots into vserver and serve up plain old mpeg transport streams that might PC clients might be able to handle.

You might check out bcc's work here (http://dealdatabase.com/forum/showthread.php?t=58805) for a starting point. It does basically what I described above, using ftp as the transport protocol.
