Sorry guys, don't mean to be newbiesque, but please gimme a quick answer (i'm perfectly aware of the search button, however primitive and mostly useless it is).
Can the Sony T60 be modded to allow it to believe it's made it's nightly call (without having done so)...
BUT, not require running through an update process (like 2.5extreme boot cd) or DTiVo'ing and Bless'n or popping, etc... etc..
Basically, i'm wondering if there exists a route where one could mod tivo to keep it from having to make nightly calls BUT retain ratings, season passes, everything! but simply fix it to keep from needing to phone home.
I'm a happy (device) lifetime subscriber but hate the idea of it "anonymously" reporting my tv viewing habits with those nightly calls!!!
Bare minimal DTiVO hack to keep it from having to make the nightly call... or is the easiest/best solution simply to use the 2.5extreme cd and touch SubTest?
