Sony, Philips, Hughes ?

Is the remote/functions, the screen menus (DTV guide) all the same on all of these? I love Sony IRD's (5 station jump loop), etc.

Is the Sony still a Sony ird, or are all 3 a new breed?

All three are internally the same they have the same menus and functions.

The Phillips and the Hughes have the same remote.
The sony uses thre own version it is able to control some additional Sony equipment.
