Is there a way to enable backdoor mode from the bash prompt?
I know I can enter B D 2 5 thumbs up's to enable backdoor. But, I was wordering if anyone has made a script to do on bootup?
Thanks

From the "Hacking the TiVo FAQ": (http://www.tivofaq.com/hack/faq.html)

Put "MYWORLD_ENABLE_BACKDOORS=1" in your /etc/rc.d/rc.sysinit file.

I didn't/don't think that worked past version 1.3.

Yeah... :( I saw the note that it didnt work in 2.0, but since some things "came back" with 2.5 I figured I'd at least post it...
