I'm missing something really basic here. I'm finally getting around to installing the TiVoNet card in my DTiVo, and I'm trying to use the tivonet utils on the 25Xtreme disk. (Note that this is not an Xtreme imaged drive, just a normal subbed 2.5 drive)
I'm getting "Permission Denied" the script tries to untar the drivers into /mnt/lib/modules (which is on /dev/hdc4). I can create files by the same names in that directory, and I'm root, so I'm at a loss as to why the permission problem. Is the script somehow not running as root?
What am I missing?
