Trying to install Xtreme EMU 2.5 on a 40gig Western Digital HD for my Sony SAT T-60 Dtivo reciever.... However I keep geyying the following error:

"Backup Target not large enough for entire backup by itself."

How can this be when the original HD is a 40gig Quantum?

ANy help?

The WD is not the same size in bytes as the Quantum. You will have to find the 30 gig image, and then dtivomad to expand to the 40 gig WD drive.

i have a sony t-60 with a 40 gig hard drive and mine loaded ok. here is what i done...there is 2 xtreme files for download 1 is about 160 megs and 1 is about 220 megs (the 220 is for the sony)
the problem is the 220 is corrupt on the start up files, so i downloaded both files and used the smaller 160 meg file to start unix and when it got to the log in screen i took it out and put in the 220 meg disk and it worked fine from there. hope this helps
