When preparing to hack DirecTivo, what are the first steps. Can I give my name and address to the store I purchase at? I could sub and then swap the emulator when I am testing. What is the safest way to stay below Dave's radar? I am really interested in starting with Extreme, but I'm trying to do my homework. What are successful methods used by others?
