Im trying to load my new mvchannels to my t60 sony, i can get into bash but when i try this step:

On the Tivo Bash, type: cd /var/hack <enter>
Then type: dir <enter>. You should see some files go by, amoung them will be joe. This will just show you that you are in the correct directory

It comes back no such directory. I used flamthrowers t60 25extreme iso image to my disk. am i doing something wrong or is the file not there? i dont even see the joe file either. My unit works fine i just wanna get the extra local channels in my spot beam.

Thank you bubblamp,
If i add the hack file to xtreme and the hack already exists will it screw things up? maybe the hack file is in a different subdirectory

That hack.zip contains all the files that should be in the hack directory. You need to create the hack directory (mkdir /var/hack) then unzip the hack.zip and copy all the files into /var/hack. Do the chattr +i * in the hack directory and the files will no longer be deletable.
