marrying process????

I don't know if you would consider this question advanced, but no one else can answer it so maybe you guys can. I just need to know when the A & B drive are being married I assume some changes are wrote to the A drive. Do you know what file these are written to?

Altho this info is very old and out of date, most of the information is still good.

For further detail, check out the avsforum tivo underground archive and do a search for adding a 2nd drive. Look for posts from around may or june of 2000. As they were just figuring everything out at that time, it should make for some good reading.
