Can A Local Script File Be Posted Containing This Channel Listing...Experts Plz Read

I am hoping one of the great members of this board would be able to create this set of local channels for me and others who can receive these sets of locals from the spot beams...

I remember Superzap was taking requests and offering his services for this type of thing before, but that thread has become so long that I was hoping to start a new one...This set of locals were no where to be found in that thread either...

I realize some of the channels listed below as part of my request in the New York, Los Angeles and Chicago Stations are Repeats from Nationals, but would like to have them included anyways...

I am hoping whoever creates this will and can leave the channels in the 800-900 range channel listings...

Just edit the channels.dat which is included with the mvchannels script. Add a # in front of the locals you do not receive. Hey, why not read the first few lines of channels.dat? Come on, it's not that difficult!

Here, I'll be nice and do the first two lines for you:

NY2:2:880:0:0:2
NY4:4:881:0:0:2

Just a note, forget about the 4 NYs and 4 LAs (except 7 and 11), as well as channel 66. All they are is duplicate channels for the nationals broadcasts. This means that even if you remove them from the channels.dat you STILL get them in the 380s+ range, all they are is ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, (NY is east, LA is west) and univision. You may as well save the extra time and memory from your tivos overhead.

Also, nobody is going to want to make a locals set for every single person, the purpose of that thread was for you to make your own locals set and then post the channels.dat, that way should somebody happen to have the same set of locals (live in the same general area/city), you save them the trouble. There are literaly hundreds of different locals combonations that you can possibly have. Just look here (http://www.scottandmichelle.net/scott/dtv.html) and you will see what I mean.

Just read the mvchannels.tcl script.

Open in joe or any editor you choose. I use "Ultra edit 32".

The instructions are there!

I believe my 10 year old could follow them with out any diffeculty.

Aren't all DirecTiVo's 5th generation, and as such not able to receive locals in the 8/900's? Or does this script override that? I have a dsr6000 and would love to get more than my city's locals (I do get the nationals, too).

A simple example would have been nice instead of a crack at me...

If anyone is helpful enough to post a 1 line example of what to put for the channels to be taken off/I do not receive because of spot beam...It would be very much appreciated...
