Making a 25extemed Harddrive Work w/ New Tivo Updated to 2.5???

I have a new Hughes DTivo that updated to software version 2.5 by calling in. I have an extra hardrive that already had been 25extemed and put in a different Tivo for a period of time. When I put the extremed harddrive in the new tivo it doesn't get past the Powering Up screen. How can I make the extremed harddrive work with the new Tivo? Do I need to reinstalled extreme or can I flash the Prom of the new Tivo to acknowledge the extremed harddrive?

You can flash the prom, let it boot up. This will give you an Error 51-error. Then do a "Clear & Del Everything" & you should be good to go.

P.S. Since you have to clear and delete everything to make the tivo recognize the new drive(img), you may just be better off running extreme from scratch.

I might just ending up reapplying extreme.......but just to know, how do you flash the prom and with what software to make it work?
