Direct Tivo Mad

I have done the 2.5 Xtreme upgrade on my Hughes Unit.

I put 2 80GB disk (Samsung) and all I get is 100 hours.

Could there be something weird about these Samsung drives?

I expected a bit more than this.

I don't think this is correct.

At 40GB + 80GB drive would give you about 108hrs.

Did you TivoMad the 40Gig hard drive as a 80Gig?

I have 1 40 and a 120. Should be same total gigs as you have. I get 148 recording time.

I think I read somewhere:

total hours recording time for DTivo = (total gigs - 10-12 gigs)
( for operating system and such)
