I lost all of my local Guide Data for Dallas area. Now all it has is" To Be Annouced."
Under System Information
GC: Thursday, Feb 14 at 11:01 am
Indexing: Thursday, Feb 14 at 4:17pm

It's now 9:25pm and my locals still say to be announced.

Has not enough time elapsed for the guide data to show up?

This is very buggy if Tivo doesn't incrementally update your guide data I lost some local channels recordings because of this.

anybody have any suggestions on what may of gone wrong or caused this?

can it be fixed?

TIA

Did you ever have guide data, and now don't, or did you just install the system? Yes, guide data does take some time to fill in.

Are you using a real access card? If not, then you may have some work to do.

Are you running one of the locals scripts?

I've been up for couple months. I have had my local data since I first installed and waited for it to complete the first time. I do have mvchannels ver 1.35 installed for about 2 weeks and it has been working normally re-assigning only the southwest local to the 900's and dallas in the 00 - 99 range.

the last thing I did do was unsub by renaming the Sub### file, pulled access card and made daily call. it download the missing tivolution/showcase stuff. I re-name sub### back, retouched, made daily call to get my sub back.

It is 12:15am and my locals are still showing to be announced. for dallas only. in the 900 range LA, SN,AU show guide data.

Strange

fyi spending limit is at $5 guide byte set to 05 and time zone is A4
if you know what I mean.

I am lost with out have to re-image the whole thing which I hope not to do. I will wait until tomorrow and see if it appears if not any other suggestions

this is driving me nuts. I'm now running .mvchannels.tcl reset etc. to see if that does something

Help!

Might be stretching a little, but is your zip code correct?

yep in both places. in autoexec and on the cor file. used wincore to verify zip. in autoexec I have /z4 /c76140 /g05 Funny thing is that the guide data alway showed up until after I dial in.

I went ahead and delete guide data and I well see if the guide data will come back up for my dallas locals

Very fustrating that it just quit.
