recorded unselected programs

hello again everyone.. i've been looking but..

ok this is a new one, i can't find anything on this and was wondering if anyone else has heard
of this..?

i just got this new dsr6000 25x'ed and a second drive installed so i was going to see how it worked..i set a couple season passes last night and this morning i have 5 or 6 programs that i did not choose. they do not show up in the To Do list and i'm not sure why it recorded them. there a couple hbo movies a documentry from the discover channel and some cartoons..

i have never even heard of the movies so i know i didn't pick them....and as i look at the thing now the red light is on and i guess i'm getting something else now and nothing is supposed to be recording right now...

is there anyway to see what is being recorded while it's being recorded??
(never mind, red dot on to do list indicates recording.....i'm now recording little lulu...help please)

anyone know what the problem may be? i'm wondering if the reboots i experinced while trying to schedule ppv recordings may have confused it..

disable tivo suggestions in messages&preferences|MyPreferences.

You may wish to wait a while to see what it records after it has a feel for what you like.. That's what the thumbs ratings are for, to allow a database to be constructed so it can intellegently record things that you might like to watch but did not know about or select on your own.

I never really got much out of the tivo suggestions that I wasn't already aware of. Others have, though, so clearly your mileage may vary.
