Dual Tuner question

Is there any problem running dual tuners if you don't have second tuner cable hooked up yet ?

You will probably always see a message saying 'searching for satellite signal in 2' as well as the possibility of missing several of your recordings since they may happen to be scheduled to be obtained from the second tuner.

As long as you do not enavle the 2nd tuner - you will not have any error messages or problems. If I remember correctly - this is done during the Sat Setup - so you can turn it on or off.

Why turn it on if you arent going to have it hooked up? You will gain nothing...
