xtreme was working great with "touch". In trying to get the showcases working, I un-subbed by deleting the SubTest file and dialed in to get the slices. I unplugged the T60 to reboot and was under the impression that a new SubTest file would be created. Got bash but still no SubTest file. Was following directions from a previous thread. Any hints?

It is my understanding that one is NOT created for you automatically (where have you read otherwise?)

I'm not sure when/why the 25xtreme software would ever create that file for you, actually.

I could be wrong of course, but from all the reading I've done, that's what I gathered.

Touch the file, reboot, and force a call.

I tried to touch but got file not found. Checked /etc and didn't find it either. I don't want to xtreme again and lose my recordings.

Well, after letting the system sit after a couple more reboots, I was able to touch and everything is fine. Took care of the showcases and log files. Thanks BubbleLamp and everyone else who contributes to this great forum.

Did you lose your hack directory? If so you'll have to recreate it. The files can be found here (http://dealdatabase.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=7145).

Wow, I did lose my hack directory. I'll follow the thread to recreate. Did I lose it by dialing in?

Could be, or maybe your Tivo decided your /var directory was using too much space. Are you running any of the log killing routines? When you restore the hack dir, make sure to do chattr +i /var/hack to keep it from getting wiped out.

I did exactly that. Copied fixsub.tcl and logsNull from superzap's post. Hopefully it will only happen this one time.
