I installed a 120 gb B: drive into my Sony tivo. Then after it was on and accepted I accidently knocked out the IDE wire harness, and powered it up again, Divorcing the drives. I plugged the B: drive back in but now the unit is reading Severe Error. Can someone tell me what I need to do to fix my unit. I guess I need to reformat, rebless and reinstall the Tivo software. What programs do I need and where can I get instructions? Also is it possible for me to recover my settings and preferances? Do I need to rebless the B: drive, or is it still OK? If there is a CD that anyone could recomend that has everything I need that would work also. I hope somebody can save me.
