extreme25 and dialing in

Okay I am fairly new to hacking tivo. I have searched the forums and found multiple answers, but not that seem difinitive.

Ater installing extreme25 can I still dialup? What is the pros or cons of each method? I am not stealing anything just running bash and some other things.

Please do not turn this thread into a "You don't need extreme for that" That is not my question.

So what is your question exactly? Yes, you can still dial-up, just don't do the "touch" step. If you're not stealing anything, why are you worried?
