Audio question

I have a t60 connected to my audio component with fiber optic cable. It works great for Dolby Digital, etc... I also have another TV connected via standard RCA cables. On the TV with the RCA cables I can hear a 'beep' when I enter a channel number or move through the guide. On my main TV with fiber optic I get no beep.

I like the beep because I can tell when the unit has accepted the command. It is very slow sometimes.

Any Ideas?

the "beeps" (tivo sounds) are never played over the optical link. only via rca. no way to change it at this point (probably a hardware limitation).

you will probably notice also ............that with rca you will hear then see the pic and with the fiberoptic .........you see the pic then hear the audio ..........................at least with mine i hear it that way ...........................
