Yes, it really does. I just hope I can find some time to dig in and make it work soon. It doesn't sound like brain surgery.
Is that what's in the first post of this thread? The only other attachment is your new THD build in post #8.
And that new THD version will work on my S2 SA units I mentioned in the post just above yours?
That post is exactly opposite of what I want to accomplish. He wanted to get rid of the episode title, while I want the option to add an episode title. His post talks about how to remove the title...
I don't know if this is specifically a TWP issue except that it is a TWP feature that I'm trying to use. I uploaded 13 video files to my tivo and now I want to edit the episode information. To be...
I am running 2 S2 SA units with 9.3.2b software. This script isn't doing what I want it to do. That is delete the transferred show from the 'server' tivo. Has anyone gotten it to work with 9.3.2b?
Nevermind. I made an image with my other tivo and although I have to do a c&de, it worked for my purpose.
It would be nice if the image already had the network drivers that work with the kernels but I'll be more than happy either way. Anyone got?
in the command line you're typing the file name ssuperpatch-6789all-nutkase-1.15.tcl where the file that is located on your drive is superpatch-67all-nutkase-1.2.tcl.
Well, it certainly looks like I fixed it. I flipped the bootpage to hda4 and it came up with the upgraded software with all hacks still working. I'm thinking it was just a dumbass mistake on my part...
You're right .. this is odd indeed. bootpage -p says /dev/hda7 and bootpage -b /dev/hda3. I just dd'd a killhdinitrd kernel to hda3 and am booting up now.
No, I'm not. I think I just made matters...
I've got it all torn down right now. It's almost my bedtime. I'll definitely be back on it tomorrow evening and I hope you're around. Thanks for your attention to this matter and all you've done so...
'fraid not. bootpage -p /dev/hdc (while connected to a PC) reports root=/dev/hda7...etc. So I dd if=vmlinux.px of=/dev/hdc6 paying very close attention.
Now you have me wondering if I really did...
Yea, I did. But knowing that you're a little more familiar with these things than I am, I did it again. Same problem. Maybe I'm using non-killhdinitrd kernel? I doubt it, but what else could be...
Okay I'll admit it. I'm old. I think senility is setting in. Apparently I don't know how to take an upgrade anymore. It probably won't be long and I'll be found wandering around the neighborhood in...
Way to go, Throg. After an entire day yesterday full of confusion, frustration, and anger, I got it working!!! I have never in my life seen anything like this. Do you want to know what the problem...
I decided to take the 9.3.2b update yesterday morning. I've done this many times before (with older updates), even wrote my own documentation so I don't blow it or forget anything. I stepped through...
In less time than it took to post the problem I figured it out. Playing around with out2osd, text2osd, etc. I have Network Called ID Client version 0.71 installed. To test it, I typed "Hi". It...
I decided to check this out. Before making any changes to it I wanted to see what output I'd get.
$ cidtv.tcl
unable to convert date-time string "hi hi//"
while executing
"clock scan "$time...
9.3.2 very quickly turned into 9.3.2a. Has anyone checked the existing patch yet?
I think we all knew this was going to happen, perhaps not so soon, but my other tivo just pulled down 9.3.2-01-2-140. I'm guessing the testing went well. Now how can I check for certain if the...
Touche'! Works like a champ. In other words, 9.3.2.P4 patch tested successfully. Thanks Scanman and jt1134.
Thanks for the TCF link, good info. Thanks for the no-CSO (verified). I didn't check the backdoors. I don't typically use them on this box. I do however need the MRV to work. Hopefully soon. I sure...
One of my SAS2s downloaded this: 9.3.2.P4-01-2-140.
Has it been scrutinized yet?
