It appears that Lure doesn't allow uploads

My tivo recently died. I went through hell & back trying to get a "A" drive image for the sonysvr2000. Needless to say I replaced my quantum "A" drive with a 100gb maxtor, used the faq & all is well....

I read through those faqs but it doesn't really answer my question. I guess I should have worded my question properly :P

What I really want to do is backup a virgin "A" drive (s*ny) to an image...

Sadly I've never had a need for linux till now. What's the best way to create an image of a Tivo hard drive ? Especially a virgin drive ;)

agreed, rar volumes with sfv checks is the most effecient way to go for large transfers. although I don't know if the images created have a problem with rar. can anyone confirm this ?

I was able to terminal into the Tivo & check out some of the diagnostic tests, but there wasn't one for the HD, anyone know of a way to do this ?
