This worked for me too. For some reason Tytols/preferences/network thought my Tivo was at 102.168.0.105 and i couldnt change that in the preferences. After changing the bash to # it autoconnects...

You can pull the drive and run AMSET without affecting the TiVo information. AMSET 'talks' to the firmware of the drive, not the
media. It is similar to the CMOS or BIOS settings on a computer.

Amset will scan the IDE bus for Maxtor drives. KIt will refuse to work with non-Maxtor drives.
