100hrs off of twin 80GB HD's?

Hi all,

Did I do something wrong?

The tivo master/orig was hdb & the 2nd 80GB was named hdc during the 25xtreme set up. I followed the prompts to bless the second drive.
It reported recording time as up to 100hours variable?

You did not tivomad the A drive before you blessed the B drive.
You will have to start over.

Make sure you answer yes to "do you want to tivomad " or somrthing like that when it asks.

Also answer yes to "is your target Tivo >140 gigs"

Thanks for the response. I'm pretty sure I did all that you suggessted. However, I'm more that willing to start over again.

I just took the 80 GB Western Digitial HD out of the box & wired according to 25xtremes instruction.s

I was wondering if I should have formatted the drive first.
I'm going to be placing an order for the TurrboNet for tivo this weekend & want to start getting my ducks in all in a row.

I truly to read alot but it does get confusing at times.

on my stand alone with 2 80 gig hds i get 196 hr basic and 53hr and 55 min best,not sure what a direct tivo would get but thats a good ball park
