    Unhappy DSR6000 - Help

    Hello, I am a newbie here and just got a hold of a dsr6000. I hooked it up for the first time and it only says "Welcome....powering up". What is happening to my unit? As far as I know the dsr6000 is not modified in any way, just a box a picked up from the company I work for that was going to be thrown away anyway.

    Are there or is there a way to do a hard reset on the box??

    Try removing the hard drive, installing in pc and restoring a known good image, v25xtreme for example.

    Try reseating the mylar ribbon cable between the Powersupply and the motherboard.
