    sort of a newbie question

Hey all, I've got a question that will probably be classified as newbie question, but I'll give it a shot anyway...

I have a SA series 1 running 3.0 and Turbonet. I've got telnet, FTP and TivoWeb 1.9.4 running on it.
I have linux on my desktop.
I want to be able to get the FSID's for shows that I've recorded so that I can download them to my desktop using extractstream.
I've seen the httpd.tcl script that comes with exactstream, but it doesn't seem to work(I'm guessing something to do with 3.0...) and so I can't get esdirect, etc. to work.

has anyone with 3.0 and turbonet gotten any of this to work, or figured out how to extract shows to their desktop in general?

    thanks for the help guys!

    fsids and tivoweb

repace the ui.itcl file in the modules directory of
tivoweb 1.94 with the one from my website. http://themurrays.homeip.net/downloads/tivo/for_tivo/

It should show you the fsids.

Never had luck w/ extractstream. Try tytool, or mfs_export2

    enjoy
