    Possible to control TiVo via Serial Port?

    Is it possible to ocntrol the tivo from a Linux PC via the serial port?

    I am playing around with Freevo (http://freevo.sourceforge.net/) on a Linux system and want to see if I can make Freevo control TiVo so I can use the same remote for everything.

    A utility called SendKeys can allow you to use most of the remote buttons from a command prompt. You may have to make some changes to config to enable recordings. tivo.samba.org has the origional version, and others are floating around.
