That Damn TIVO SOUND!!!

Is there a way to get rid of the TIVO BLIP that plays everytime you move around the menu? It's driving me crazy!!!

Thanks a lot!! It seems that was one of two menus that I didn't open! I saw dolby and the "sound effects", but since I didn't have dolby, I figured sound effects had no meaning for me.

Actually, if you <B>have</B> Dolby Digital optical out in use, THAT is when you don't have any "problems" with the sounds effects. 90% of them never play (it's documented in the "official TiVo instructions) if you're using the DD optical out on your DTiVo.

Anyway, your problem is solved. So, chalk that up under "info you might need someday".
