DirecTivo Hacking Summation

Hello guys.

This is a wonderful site that looks very beneficial to users. I have a simple question for a summation of DirecTivo hacking.

Is there a place with a one page that says all of the different hacks, like Ethernet, fatter hard disk(s), to burn DVD? I ask because I speak German, and reading all of this English sorted through is kind of hard. I am in America though right now.


I am liking to get the a new HDVR2. Is this OK to use for fatter disks and Ethernet? I like to burn the DVD from shows.

Yes, it is possible to put a bigger drive into the HDVR2 and it is also possible to qet an ethernet connection through the USB port.
However I cannot assure you about the DVD ripping since i have not done it, but I believe it can be done as well
