a way to exit guided setup??

well, I've searched around a bit, and haven't been able to find the answer to this...

I've started a guided setup, and now can't get out of it. I can't complete the setup (I don't have a phone line and my turbonet won't arrive until Tuesday), so I'm stuck... any advice?? I'm running a HDR312 with 2.5.x

i'm currently running 3.1 and having the same problem. i went into guided setup and got into a loop wher the DTivo hangs afterwards ... any help would be appreciated. i tried the suggestions from a couple of other posts with no luck.

if not... can i just re-install over the current 3.1 on my DTivo? i tried this with tivolater, but it wont upgrade to 3.1 if at 3.1. i really dont WANT to pull the drive and startover ( only to have this happen again ), but i will as a last option.

i have bash and can telnet to the tivo, start ftp to transfer files, etc.

followed the directions posted by yazhol in the 'Aquiring Guide Info' thread, but i had to install xPlusz first. i didnt need to edit anything. still cant make it all the way through guided setup without getting hung-up after, though.

./mvchannels.tcl dumpall
./mvchannels.tcl reload
reboot
