Descriptor for Bash Prompt

OK:

I'm a linux noob. However, I know enough to be dangerous, and have done quite well up to this point.

Granted it was much easier when I was only playing around with 1 tivo. However, now I have 2.

How can I change the bash prompt to something more usefull?

I believe it goes in the .profile but I cant remember how to do it...

anyone help me on this?

The \W is the last part of your path.
