    Change Screen Saver Logos?

I have successfully changed most all of the messages to make it personalized for me. Does anybody know where the screen saver logos are at on the drive and what format they are? I would like to change those as well, to something other than the RCA, DirecTV, and Ultimate TV logos.

But would he? My guess would be probably not. Where is area code 650 at anyway?

    Area code
    650
CA -8 California: Peninsula south of San Francisco -- San Mateo County, parts of Santa Clara County

    Area Code: 650

    Prefix: 906

    Location: PALO ALTO

    Other Info: PCS

If I could hold my own in a programming conversation I would call him up for fun and hassel him until he gave up some info

Unfortunatley the best I can do is change error messages like you did..

You would have to rebuild browserdata
    path=browserdata\branding\images\
    in utv speak this becomes
    file://content/branding/images/screensaver_rca.gif
    file://content/branding/images/screensaver_sony.gif
    file://content/branding/images/screensaver_directtv.gif
    file://content/branding/images/screensaver_ultimatetv_logo_151x88.gif

you will need utvimage.exe to take the compressed partiton apart
and buildfsimage.exe to put it back together along with a .bfs file for buildfsimage.

    extract to c:\browserdata

at dos prompt c:\ type in
buildfsimage -updatemode -script browserdata.bfs -output browserdata.image

contents of browserdata.bfs would look something like this.

    Addvolume BrowserData
    addtree browserdata
    setattrs -maxsegmentsize 49152

    Thanks satchmoe,

I'm on my way, step one completed:
I have extracted images, located screen saver images folder. Also located script to run screen saver "Browserdata\common\screensaver\simple.html".

Now, is my next step to insert my images I wish to use as screen savers into the images folder? Then also change the image names in the simple.html script?

Also I cannot find buildfsimage.exe in this forum.

This tool would sure be nice in the quest for developing mods to this system. Anyone have this and want to share it?

    Peace...
