    Not that I know of, but PTVupgrade now has a 3.1.5f instantcake with the 6.3a slices loaded in MFS.

    I was wrong. It has been making daily calls but it doesn't update the guide data. It says it processed the daily call successfully too. I'm thinking I might have it go through guided setup to see if that does anything. Do any of you know if that would be a waste of time?


    Edit: I did the guided setup and

    all seems to be well. So you can put a philips SA series one image on a Sony series one SA but you may have to do a guided setup.

    Additional edit: Well damn. It's still not updating the guide. It calls, says it's successful but the guide data doesn't update. Can someone give me a series one sony SA image?

    Unhappy 3.5-01-1-011 tivoapp

    Ugh; I seem to have somehow blown away my tivoapp after running the upgrade to 3.5-01-1-011 manually. My T-60 now hangs on the "just a few more seconds" screen.

    Is there any way that I can get a replacement tivoapp?

    Any one have the 6.2 image for a Phillips DSR708, and the S2 Slicer? Can someone post it on e-mule?

    Slicer is a PTVupgrade product. PTVupgrade is a site sponsor. What makes you think we would slap a sponsor in the face by assisting in stealing their product?

    NewB error...

    Sorry,

    I didn' know this was proprietary. I am new to the TIVO tech area. I definatley could use the Phillips S2 DSR708 image. Is the image proprietary as well? I have no way to restore my 2 DVR's and I was hoping I don't have to spend about the $250 I spent already for the DVR's from DirectTV..

    PTVupgrade also sells images for most TiVos and DirecTiVos (InstantCake). Images are also available on eMule, but I don't recall seing one for a DSR-708.

    Sorry, I made an image, but it is on a computer that is unavailable at this time. I suggest using AlphaWolf's minimal 6.2 image from eMule. Here's a link:

    looking for 6.3a and a boot CD

    I am looking for a minimal 6.3a image or slices. I just got a HR10-250 (which already has a 6.3a). However, I want to put in a new drive and start hacking it.

    Are there any copies out there? Or do people recommend going the instantcake route?

    Also has anybody compiled a more current linux startup/boot CD? It would be nice to find something with SATA driver support along with some of the more recent updates to the setup tools.
