Messed up with sleeper image, doesn't get past first screen on TV. Made serial cable and get:

    "Boot failed reason=60
    Service number is 5400001D0******.
    What is password?
What is password? Boot failed reason=60
    What is password?
    What is password?
    What is password? factory
    "

Factory password doesn't work. Didn't have a FAT32 disk to backup on should have

Do have cd-burner and software. Would like to boot on sleeper cd and fix if possible.

    Thanks in advance

Did you bother reading the instructions for TiVoScripts (AKA Sleeper's iso)? How about searching for reason=60?

TiVoScripts is obsolete, has been for years, and can not work on the TCD540xx. That product was designed to be immune to the monte exploit. Sleeper tried to make his product foolproof, obviously you aren't even at that level.

PTVupgrade sells an Instantcake image for your system; they tried to make it ID10T proof; now you have a chance to check that out.

Thanks, for your reply, I read it twice, it has no info I can use. I may have made a mistake but your name calling is a bit over the top, if you were a little more subtle you could insult me, and a ID10T like me wouldn't know it. That would be funny you are not

    need image for svr 2000

I got a "deal" on ebay during my first attempt to buy a tivo.. ends up the deal includes a totally toasted hard drive. If anyone can point me to an image for the sony series 1 tivo svr-2000 so that I can build a drive and see what other "deals" I got with this supposed lifetime unit, I would greatly appreciate it.

    thx!

p.s. I'd read that the phillips and sony were basically the same unit with exact same hardware (manufactured by a 3rd party). Is this true? If so, can I load a phillips HDR212 image on a sony svr-2000?

    7.2.2-oth-K1 kernel

Could someone PM me a source for the 7.2.2-oth-K1 kernel. I don't need a whole backup, I would just like the kernel. I have searched edonkey without success. I know I can get one for $5 bucks but I know there is someone with one who is willing to share. I can't believe its so hard to get, everything else is readily available. Thanks.

I know it's not S|2, but I need a virgin image for a 15 GB drive to revive my PTV100 just to keep my Lifetime sub on the account (so I can save $7 a month on my S|2 sub).

Does anybody have an original Series 1 image (preferably 3.x, but whatever) smaller than 15 GB?

How about this. I will provide a direct download link to a Philips HDR112 image or a TCD240xxx image to anyone who can provide me with a verifyable link to a good 7.2.2-oth-K1 kernel or the enhanced cd iso w/ kernel everyone talks about. I'll post back once I have it.

Jamie, is the 3.1.5 kernel LBA48 compatible? My guess is that it is NOT.

The 3.1.5 kernel is absolutely LBA48 compatible; the only notable issue (as Jamie already pointed out) in using the 3.1.5 on 7.X tivo software is the use of DHCP is non-working w/out additional hacking, but you can simply set up a static IP address in the tivo gui.

    Toshiba SD-H400 Image

As above, this is a minimal image, meaning it will fit on any size drive > 1GB, and must be expanded (-x) when restored. It's using one partition pair, so it can be expanded twice; useful if you upgrade drives again later. The image doesn't have the capacity lock that a stock sd-h400 image would have. Other than that, everything is stock (unhacked).
    Jamie,

I saw your post #717 about the "minimal-7.2.2b-oth.01-2.264.mfs" being appropriate for the SD-H400. I haven't been able to get that from emule, but I was able to get "minimal-7.2.2-oth.01-2-140.mfs". Do you know if that would work in a Toshiba SD-H400 as well?

    ----- EDIT -----

I tried the "minimal-7.2.2-oth.01-2-140.mfs" on my SD-H400 and it think I've answered my own question: it will not work. It seems to run OK, but the first tipoff that there's a problem was when I tried to run the sd-h400_unlock utility and it reported not finding a limit to remove. When the unit started up on this image, it asked me to press the "Select" button at the start of the guided setup routine, but would not receive the signal from "Select" button on my remote. It must be looking for the signals from a different type of remote. Guess I'll have to cross my fingers and hope for the "minimal-7.2.2b-oth.01-2.264.mfs" image to download.

    Thanks,

    6.3 image for HR10-250?

Need a fresh image for fried HD and was hoping to go straight to 6.3 if anyone has an image. Would like to avoid the long wait for activation. Anyone have it?

If not, which is the right image from ED2k? There is a -std.iso (202mb) and a -1.1-3.1.5f.iso (177mb). I wouldn't have questioned it except that the size is so different.

Anyone have any luck with finding any locations for 6.3 yet?
