Lightbulb Making it easier to understand: Glossary

I have been away for a while from the TiVo scene (I used to live in the Netherlands and got me a US TiVo and hacked that puppy). Now I moved to the US (he! If TiVo is not coming to the Netherlands, then I'd better move to TiVo-land ).

Anyway; I noticed a lot of new expression and abbreviations, which can make live pretty tough on newbies (and me for that matter).

How about settings up a thread explaining these expressions and abbreviations?

    Talking Wow

Nice link list you have there
    I like it!
Have some links on muy own website that might be helpful (although it's a bit outdated - as I wrote before: I played with the TiVo 1 series).

    What is Tivo: http://www.weethet.nl/english/tivo_parts.php
    Opening a Tivo: http://www.weethet.nl/english/tivo_howtoopen.php
Make a cable for shell access via RS232: http://www.weethet.nl/english/tivo_rs232cable.php
    Bash shell: http://www.weethet.nl/english/tivo_accessbash.php
    Set the clock: http://www.weethet.nl/english/tivo_setclock.php
    Disbale call home feature: http://www.weethet.nl/english/tivo_disablecallsetup.php

But back to the original suggestion: how about a glossary thread?

You don't seem to have added your links to the wiki?
