Searched and Still Unsure - DSR7000/Wireless Question

I have searchedon cobellie monte, and am still confused...

I have installed the Sleeper ISO and do not know which netowrk configuration I should select - pegasus or ax8817x, or if I need to install the Prism drivers. I am looking to use a wireless USB at some point (no need for it now).

    What driver do I select?

    What network card will work?

    Thanks!

Did you find an answer yet?
I'd like to compile a list of which drivers to use for which network adapter ... (for Sleeper).

Well I'll admit it wasn't the easiest search (finally found it with pegasus.o and list) but here is the post for wired adapter compatability:

    http://www.dealdatabase.com/forum/sh...77&postcount=9

And for one wireless driver, only one compatible device listed:

    http://www.dealdatabase.com/forum/sh...11&postcount=1

And here is a more inclusive thread of general USB stuff for the series 2:

My last comment is that any of you could have found this info had you tried a few search terms. Most of this I have never read before (happened before I arrived here or I just didn't care about it) and I still found it. Please use the search button, and the advanced search. Please also set your search options in the advanced search to search by post so that you don't have to scan 100 page threads.

AFAIK, the drivers included with sleeper's iso do not support any wireless devices.

However, using the drivers found in the last 2 links malfunct provided, most 802.11b wireless devices work

Start with Google or this list: http://www.linux-usb.org/devices.html

You'll want to find out if the wireless device you have (or plan on buying) has Linux support, then you will want to find out whether or not anybody has built/posted the driver for the TiVo. Network drivers are based on chipsets, not model names, since several models frequently use the same chipset.
