just wanted to drop a note and let every one know that my tivo motherboard
has been fitted with a new prom socket, and 'modified' prom, thanks to the
efforts of Omikron.

everything came back working perfectly, and after good deal of hunting around
forums and trying various kernels, I'm able to get telnet & ftp access into my tivo.

now...how do I get my hands on that MFS partition...
