heya, I'm trying to follow MarkZ's "Newbie guide to the Hughes HR10-250" (thread), and when I go to test my backup after step 1, the directivo does not boot.
I then tried to just perform a hard disk backup as described in the Hinsdale-howto . When I run the mfsbackup command
mfsbackup -f 9999 -6so /mnt/dos/tivo.bak /dev/hdb (yes I need hdb, not hdc)the process gets up to
Scanning source drive. Please wait a moment.then runs for a few more seconds, then falls into a "disk sleep" state according to /proc/###/status.
I've tried both the MFSTools 2.0 CD with large disk support (link here), and the standard "MFSTools 2.0" CD without large disk support.
Any ideas what the heck I'm doing wrong?
thanks in advance!
