4.01b on DirecTivo reboots while setting "channels you receive"

I ran into this one last night on a new image. I don't recall having it before. The symptoms were that when setting the preferences, channels you receive, it would just sit there with "please wait" on the screen. After 5 or 10 minutes, the unit would just reboot itself (I assume it believed it was in a hung state). After the reboot, the channels were the same as when I'd started. This was very soon after booting up, within an hour. The local channels hadn't yet appeared (they take 4-6 hours from reading on here). I decided to sleep on it and this morning, the symptoms went away. I just thought this might be something someone else runs into.

Mine hung also but finished after about 3 mins. When done Locals were in.
I think maybe best to allow locals to aquire be4 setting channel list.
The 1st time it went thru normal because locals were already there.

I had to reimage after updating to USB2.0 drivers when i unplugged the adaptor while Tivo was running. Hosed it. Rebooted to What is Password. I was able to unplug it with stock drivers.
